Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

1. What This Page Is

This page is for California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), you have the right to tell a business not to sell or share your personal information.

Even if we do not sell or share your personal information, the law requires that we give you a clear, dedicated way to make the request.

2. Do We Sell or Share Your Personal Information?

No.

  • We do not sell your personal information for money or other value.
  • We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do share information with service providers who help us run the Platform (for example, our payment processor and hosting provider). Those are service providers, not third parties, under the CCPA/CPRA. See our Privacy Policy Section 4 for the full list.

3. How to Submit a Request

Even though we do not sell or share your personal information, you can still submit a request to be sure. Here is how:

  • Email — send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information". Include:
    • Your full name.
    • The email address associated with your TowGo account.
    • A statement that you are a California resident.
  • In-app / in-portal — go to Settings > Privacy > Do Not Sell or Share, and toggle the request on.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC) — if you turn on GPC in your browser, we treat that as an opt-out request for that browser.

We will confirm your request within 15 business days and honor it going forward. We may need to verify your identity before we process the request.

4. Authorized Agents

You may authorize someone to make this request for you. If you do, we may ask for:

  • Written permission signed by you.
  • Proof of the agent's identity.
  • Direct confirmation from you.

5. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for submitting this request. Your account and pricing will not change because you exercised this right.

6. Sensitive Personal Information

You also have the right to limit the use of your sensitive personal information (for example, a Driver's license). We only use sensitive personal information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy Section 2.4, so there is nothing extra to opt out of. If our practices change, we will update this page and the Privacy Policy.

7. Other California Rights

You have other rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct. Details are in our Privacy Policy Section 7.2.
